What I like:
Location, location, location! Its less than 15 minutes from San Francisco. The owner, Ted, is friendly. The access to trails and the beach is unmatched. You have a choice of (small!!) box stalls, large box stalls and a combo stall/paddock. Although there are no trainers at PPS, you can bring in your own for no additional fee.
What needs improvement:
The quality of the hay isn't great, and they only feed oat hay, so most boarders buy their own feed to supplement. They don't offer a stall cleaning service and bed with straw. The arena isn't well-maintained (although its rarely busy, which is a plus), and the facilities in general are quite rundown and sometimes unsafe. Dogs are allowed to run around unleashed.
