Other features: Rental horses available on site. Mainly trail riding barn. Trails can be accessed without crossing streets, direct trail access to Hansen Dam and Angeles Forest trails. Drill teams for kids 18 and under ride most nights and are always interested in new members.

On boarding side, one wash rack with 3 hoses available, area dedicated to farriers and trimmers, one main tie rail, with 2 smaller ones. Polo has own facilities on dedicated section of ranch including it's own washrack, arena, trainers, and hotwalker- not for normal boarder use, only for those with polo. There are six arenas/ roundpens total for turnout or riding- one for polo only, two large, one medium, one small, one roundpen. They are first come first serve, but asked to be respectful if people are waiting.

Standard feeding is alfalfa hay, two flakes morning and two flakes at night unless otherwise instructed. Other feed can be fed at no extra charge, but you must provide your own and there is no discount given if you do.

Tack rooms are available and avereage 6x10 in size {estimated and various sizes}. They are an additional fee if kept private, but are included with the stalls if shared with 3 or more people.

Roughly 200 horses when full, 50 for polo, 35-40 rentals, and the rest boarders.

Stalls vary. 12x12 box stalls in one barn, shavings also included, a second barn has in and out stalls and box stalls also including shavings, then 2 other barns of pipe stalls where you can buy your own shavings, but they are not included that are 12x24 fully covered, 12x27 with 3 feet uncovered. all pipe stalls include mesh fencing/ stallion fencing about 5' high to help prevent kicking, biting and lower the risk of getting cast. Stallions welcome.

A couple of the ranch hands live on premises in case of emergency, someone is there 24 hours a day, though may be sleeping.

Dogs welcome as long as they are leashed.

Any discipline welcome, but the footing is not well suited for english riding, and the atmosphere is very laid back western.

Trainers are welcome but come second to boarders. They may not use arenas for long periods of time or use more than one arena at a time. Lessons should be kept spaced out and shorter or on trail/around the ranch to keep from blocking boarders use of arenas.

What I like:
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I ride drill here with California Rangers and they have the BEST drill horses EVER!! I just recently started going riding on the weekends here, too, with my friends. Carlos is sooo nice! He lets us take out whatever horses we want because he knows that we are good riders and we can go on trails or in the arenas. If you are an advanced rider, the best horse to ride is Tucker (my horse), but because he's very fast and headstrong, he's not used for trail. However, Carlos lets me take him out on trail and if you can prove that you are able to ride him, it's definitely worth it!! It's great for trail rides because the guides don't care about how fast you go!! Some other good horses are Joker ( a calm horse more for beginners), Cowboy (everyone's favorite, he's really fast and responsive, and he's pretty beginner friendly), Silver & Tucker (FAST!!!! only used for the most advanced riders, but definitely the best). I hope this helps!!
What needs improvement:
The only complaint that I have is that it can get really hot/dusty on trail, so make sure to bring water!!

What I like:
Eazy to get to from work. All in all it is ok. Horses are cared for.
What needs improvement:
Can't ever get arena time. Drill teams keep them busy. Would like to see what little rules they have being inforced. Don't like to be around fighting all the time. If stronger rules were in place I think this would stop. Will stay a little longer to see if this improves.

What I like:
Very friendly atmosphere, very cozy atmosphere. Love the convenience of having rental horses available, with or without guides so that friends can come riding too, or in case your horse is out of commission or you want a change in pace. Trails range from very easy to extremely complicated, and you can ride for hours without going over the same path twice. You can even ride to restaurants, bars, and the local tack store, all complete with tie rails. Love the drill teams work in getting children into horses and discipline. Location is perfect for avid trail riders. Would not change barns if had a choice.
What needs improvement:
Facility is slowly being renovated to remove older woods and definately has an older feel to it. Drill teams are great, unfortunately they use most if not all the arenas between 5pm and 8:30pm or so, leaving turnouts in the afternoon near impossible. The ranch hands are hardworking, they know enough enlish to get by, but mainly speak spanish so may not understand you sometimes. The facility does not have many rules, so the boarders are left to fend for themselves and sometimes end up frustrated if they don't like the way something is being done.
