What I like:
Owner is knowledgeable
What needs improvement:
I need to clarify my earlier review. The five horses 'removed' were reomved by us owners due to the lack of care. This farm was not always this bad but a change in the management structure has caused this severe decline in care.

What I like:
Easy access to trails, quiet country setting, very affordable. farm OWNER, Corinne, is very knowledgable.
What needs improvement:
Very poor care. MANY reports have been made to both the State of Maine Animal Welfare Program in Augusta and the local Animal Control Officer. horses go without clean water and sometimes have no water. Stalls and paddocks NOT cleaned. If the male manager gets mad at you or a horse the horse will not be fed or cared for. Horses lose weight in this farm's care. They will take money for training or other special services then NOT deliver those services. Five horses, including my three were removed from this facility over the Summer of 2010 in varying degrees of weight loss (the worst was not even a 3 on the Henekke scale) due to lack of care by the farm.
