What I like: I grew up with Sandy (AKA Kassandra) and as a fellow instructor and 4H leader, I can say that I have full confidense in her ability to teach and keep kids and horses safe. Many of my students when I was in that area were members of her 4H group and our barns showed and trail rode together on a number of occations. I have been to her barn and it is a cow farm, but her horses are well cared for and she is a safe and knowledgeable instructor. Her riders also place well in open and AQHA shows. |
What needs improvement: I'd like to see her get her own facility someday. |

What I like: Instructor was pleasant and friendly and seemed knowledgeable. |
What needs improvement: Stalls were just round pen panels in a cow building on a cement floor and they were filthy, most pasture fencing was just plain wire, horses were turned out with cows, there was a stallion turned out in the same pasture as the horses used for riding lessons, and the outdoor riding arena was fiber glass posts with electric tape. The instructor was also trying to teach lessons while watching her toddler aged child. I did not feel that my children were safe participating in this 4H group. Too many red flags. |
