What I like: It is cheap |
What needs improvement: Its cheap, and that's all you get for the price. The horses are not checked and they are not receiving proper nutrition. massive turnout. They will take anyone that walks through the door. Alot of turnover. The guy that runs it is not as knowledgeable as he pretends. |

What I like: Nice, family owned farm. Laid back and friendly. It's clean and well kept. My horse receives great care and is happy in large, lush pastures and cozy stall board. Horse management is attentive to the care of my horse, great feed with the supplements he needs. Several options for working rings with jumps including an indoor ring up the hill and the access to trails is unbeatable. While training is available, there is no pressure to compete or be in a certain discipline, Hunt View accepts you and your horse as you are. Variety of horse breeds and riding disciplines. Fox hunters, trail riders, hunt seat, endurance riders are all welcome. Competitive pricing for a barn so close to the DC area. I like that they are expanding their programs and services. |
What needs improvement: This is an older property so there arent a lot of amenities for the riders, like a heated lounge or large tackroom. However everything you need is there, its just not a fancy place. The lower ring is in the process of being upgraded and that will be nice when its finished. |

What I like: I broad my horse to this place thinking that they will really pay attention and care about him. After three days, I went back to visit him and he was extremely thirsty, My horse was not able to access the water easily. Then the other day, I found him with 2 big wounds. The manager said, Upss I didn't noticed it.. Sorry.. Their tack rooms are very dirty and it has poor lighting. |
What needs improvement: I will say that the manager must invest a little more time and money in this place. It looks like there is zero motivation to provide good customer service. |
