What I like:
The inside arena was nice.
What needs improvement:
What needed to be improved was there paddocks. Exceedingly muddy. When, I went to get my horse the mud was too my knees and my boots would get stuck in the mud. What, I didn't like was the owner's attitude. I spent money there for my horse and took lessons. She was very rude to me and unpleasant to work with. I was surprised she is on the board committee. She ranted and raved how special she was because, she was on the board committee. I know several people who serve on the board on various companies and they are not mean! I found the place needed to be cleaner and the rules we're way out of line. I would never go back to this place. I was very disappointed. The owner, put me through grief and took money from me that was not fair. Because, it was in her rules of what is right and not right. I felt very stressed when she was there of what I could say and not say. Brad, her husband..is a nice person. I found a new place of what real horsin' should be and feel better with the surroundings. Please, don't let a board committee fool you!

What needs improvement:
Where to start- the owners attitudes or the conditions the horses have to put up with? Lets start there. The knee high mud/ poop mix year round is just gross. The only time the horses don't have to stand in it is winter- when it's frozen and the ground is uneven. They let the horses out to pasture 2.. maybe 3 times each summer. The paddocks are over crowded and the horses lower on the totem pole are scratched up and underweight. The stalls have severely uneven mats and are somewhat cleaned out daily. OH! And if you have a horse that needs supplements, (for arthritis or pain relief) don't expect them to get it. I don't know who they give it to, my horse certainly never got it. (Compared to how he acts now when he is getting it to then when he wasn't - yeah, huge difference!) The outdoor arena is huge, but the middle of it is under water all summer so you can't even use that. The one owner, (the husband) really is not that bad, so I disagree when people ways ownerS. The wife, however, has the snottiest attitude I have ever seen in an adult. She is constantly yelling at people for breaking rules, and when you're following one rule, you're breaking a different one! I don't know about others, but when I would go out to ride, she would walk through the arena and I would bring my horse to a walk because I didn't want her to say anything, 'Cuz when she opens her mouth you can expect that she doesn't have anything good to say. That's NOT how I want to feel when I'm riding my horse. There is also a 'clique' there. They talk about you behind your back, judge your riding, your tack, your horse.. It's insane. And very rude.

TO SUM IT UP- I don't see how anyone who has the slightest bit of horse knowledge would want to board here. The treatment of both horse and owner is down right horrible.

What I like:
I liked how easy it was to get to this stable from my house, I live in Brooklyn Park but now choose to board south of Prior Lake.
What needs improvement:
I have a problem with the mid leg high poop in the pasture in the spring, the very small tie stalls with rusty metal peices sticking out of them and the owners rudeness.
I was third party witness to the owner Missy yelling at other boarders, lunging a horse where the saddle slipped and the horse was in sheer terror and her personal lackluster opinion in training someone when they mentioned they were interested in learning Natural Horsemanship.
I would never recommend this barn to anyone. I would not board my horse here even if it was the last place in the area, I would drive to Duluth to see my horse before boarding here.

What I like:
the tack locker.
What needs improvement:
The owners are really nasty and disrespectful. They will yell if you do something wrong and there are many many rules to break - even rules that are not posted so you don't know when you are breaking a rule until you get screamed at. The area is really muddy, fences are in poor repair, paddocks are way overcrowded and the horses rarely get out to pasture (probably because the fences are in such poor shape). I paid for pasture board, not paddock board, but paddock board is what I got. I have never seen my horse look so listless and unhappy.

What I like:
I never have to worry about my horse, I whole heartedly can say that I trust the people handling my horse 100%. They have everything that you could need at a stable, indoor and outdoor arenas, round pen, nice clean barn, large tack lockers and friendly boarders. I love the fact that the barn owners really engage with their boarders and really do become their friends.
What needs improvement:
Absolutely nothing!

What I like:
The care was nice, and affordable! My pony was born on site and the barn owners helped me out a lot with him as a foal. Smaller, private barn, huge outdoor arena, fair indoor arena. I also really loved the private tack lockers.
What needs improvement:
The mud was an ongoing issue in spring and fall, but that is pretty common around here. I moved on because my mare was suffering from behavioral issues that I suspected was from just needing a bigger field to live in.

What I like:
Knoweldgable care and I will never worry about the care my horse recieves. My horses have kept perfect weight while I've been there and if anything have bordered on being chubby. I have been boarding here coming on three years and have never had a complaint. The barn owners are good about addressing issues that the boarders bring to them. They have a full facility with an indoor, outdoor and round pen. The footing is well maintained and solid in all three. Paddocks are a good decent size and fairly mud free with the exception of the usual spring mud (it's MN, there's mud everywhere in the spring). The pastures last all summer as the owners are good with regulating pasture time.
What needs improvement:
The weather? Then again, for better weather I better just move out of state.
