What I like:
We wanted to purchase a lesson package for our youngest son, so my husband went and checked out all the local stables and said that I had to go to Richard Elliott Stables and meet Rich and Gretta to give the final approval on the persons that would be teaching my son. I told my husband to sign us up, we found the perfect place. Rich and Gretta are fantastic stable managers, horse trainers and people trainers. They keep a very clean well maintained stable, and run it with a lot of love, care and pride. Over the past 3+ years our family has become very close friends with Rich and Gretta. They welcomed my family with open arms and have taught my boys everything they have wanted to know about horses. My children actually volunteer on Saturday mornings to go to the stables and assist with the stable chores, mostly I think they enjoy the companionship of Rich and Gretta, but they actually volunteer to do manual labor. Not many children in this day and age will volunteer to do anything. I thank Gretta and Rich for all the support and knowledge they have shared with my children. I would highly recommend this barn and Rich and Gretta for riding lessons, boarding or training. They truely put their whole hearts into their work and it shows in everything they do.

What I like:
Gretta and Rich run a fantastic stable. All the horses are well-cared for at all times. It is a fun, safe, clean, family-oriented environment. Gretta does a superb job with the lesson kids and adults and runs a great lesson program. Highly recommend this stable for lessons, training and/or boarding.

What I like:
I was looking for a stable that I could house a horse that I was rescuing off the racetrack. I looked at several stables, but chose Richard Elliott Stables for the atmosphere and the price. Richard and Gretta assisted me in the rescue and helped assure a safe enviornment for a horse straight off the track. Richard and Gretta have an indoor area, a great turnout pasture, and trails that are close by. Richard and Gretta have become very good friends and I have always felt welcomed since the first day I have walked in their barn. They care very much for the horses that they own, train, and board, many of which they have rescued. They both display professionalism and also promote a relaxed atmosphere that will fit any rider from recreational to professional. I would highly recommend this stable.
What needs improvement:
NOTHING.
