What I like:
Pretty grounds, most horses are at a nice weight and in good condition. Breeds some fantastic warmbloods for the hunter ring.
What needs improvement:
The "indoor arena" is tiny and has support beams all over the place - kind of dangerous to ride around! I rode a thoroughbred fresh off the track and noticed he was significantly lame at the trot, and the instructor said he wasn't lame enough to not ride. Does a horse need to fall on it's face to be considered lame enough to not ride? That baffled me. Additionally, it was like pulling teeth to get a return phone call. Board price is much too high for the quality of the barn and available riding space, particularly in the winter.

What I like:
It's a real barn. Good care, friendly and supportive trainer. My horses were always happy and relaxed, lots of turn out. No pressure to show and I always felt welcomed at the barn. Not a fancy show barn atmosphere, but top notch care and comfortable relaxing environment to ride and train. Denise is an excellent coach and I always looked forward to my lessons.
What needs improvement:
Indoor arena could be larger, but outdoor riding areas are really nice.
