What I like:
I would fist like to state how wonderful the owners of this barn are! I am a college student who is moving my horse from school in Missouri to home in Ohio, and Carol always goes out of her way to make room for my horse and I. They have partial board where the owner is responsible for cleaning their horse's stall daily, and have two size stalls to choose from. The facilities have an indoor and outdoor with jumps, and the arenas are regularly dragged and watered. The isles are concrete and the stalls are matted, and there is an indoor wash rack with hot water. When it comes to turnout, there is not much room, but they do their best to keep their fields green and happy, and I was very pleased with how much turnout my horse got! Another nice thing is that they turn your horse out in the same pasture every time so the horse gets to know the pasture and you always know where your horse is! And simple things such as feeding a different grain or supplements, or putting a flymask and fly spray on your horse before turnout is not an extra charge! But I think the best part about the barn are the people who manage the barn, and the people who board there! It is a small, family atmosphere, where you are sure to feel at home.
What needs improvement:
The arenas are a little smaller than what I am used to, and they could use a little deeper footing. It is also a very compact facility. But again, this barn is not set up as a training/show barn.
