What I like:
Many of the past boarders were very nice. (the current managers kicked them all out). The arena was good size, but rarely watered or worked up. The barn is large but run down and badly in need of major repair. Could be nice place if fixed up. Nice property with trails around it.
What needs improvement:
Everything. Current owner doesn't seem to know how to run a barn & doesn't do much around there. The place is a leaky, moldy, dusty falling apart barn. Water often not working, fences are unsafe, mats in stalls barely exist, lots of mice, roof leaks, footing in indoor arena horrible (worse since barely watered or worked up), footing in outdoor arena horrible (full of rocks, never watered & slippery). Could go on....

What I like:
I LOVE Heidi and Rody. They are pretty much part of my family. Both are EXTREMLY helpful and always look out for you. They know how to connect with their borders and be there for them. Heidi has made some major improvements. Water problems have been fixed, the outdoor arena has been expanded, pole barn was torn down, lots more turnouts that are hot hot. Trails are cut and trimmed regularly so they are no longer overgrown and the footing here has gotten ten times better! With the help of Corrine more events have brought revenue to the place so things are consistantly being improved. I will never leave this barn as long as I can own horses. I love this place and do not plan on leaving anytime soon.
What needs improvement:
Anymore things are just cosmetic...managment has greatly improved!!

What I like:
I love the way Rody really tries to keep the barn up.There are very nice people there and even though it is falling appart they try their hardest to keep things running good. there is a huge indoor arena, and lovely trails.Although the trails do get invaded with blackberrys ,they can be eaten .Every one there is nice and is willing to help.
What needs improvement:
The fences need to be fixed.Just today my friends horse got out. There needs to be bigger water tanks,as we are always running out of water. And they need to try to water the arena more often so that it is not sooooooo dusty.

What I like:
Heated wash area, indoor stalls, big indoor arena
What needs improvement:
management, very bad with accounting. Threatened to take me to court for not paying once I left. Very cheap. Felt like i was totally being taken advantage of. Consistantly forgot to feed my horse. Really over priced. Kept changing rules. Rody was nice, but doesn't know how to manage. I had a really hard time at this barn. I really tried to make it work being that its one of the biggest barns in Hillsboro. The place is so old that wood would frequently fall from the roof. Almost killed someone. Several fires here. Horrible place. Boarders really beware. Go to Creekside Farms one exit down on Glencoe Rd.
