What I like:
If you want to learn how to ride horses from a professional, and you like winning, this is the place to train and learn. The trainer is passionate about the horses and the riders avdancement in level; of riding/jumping.
What needs improvement:
I belive this facility and trainer meet all of our needs, therefore, don't fix something that's not broken.

I have read the negative two reviews listed above, which so happens to be by the same disgruntled former boarder, who refuses to accept responsibilty for his/her actions and the level of riding capabilities for their child/ren. Time to grow up.

What I like:
stalls were nice and cleaned daily. Very nice open field out back for riding and jumps. Good for hill work. Good access to trails.
What needs improvement:
Trainer is very rough to horses and takes a "beat them into it" approach. If she doesn't like your horse she'll be mean to it- ie: leave horse out in pasture without getting fed all night alone as punishment fo if it did something she didn't like. Did not feel comfortable leaving my horse unattended for any number of days due to lack of care. Trainer has many sale horses coming in and out of the barn with no shot records or anything and are not quarentined from the boarders- many horse picked up from auction. Fields over grazed and weedy, too many horses on property. Poor feed and hay. Many horse injuries due to too many horses in same field with one moldy round bale to fight over. Trainer's prices would always vary for shows/trailering depending on how much money she needed. Very unprofessional and used foul language all the time around children. Help hired to watch the farm when she was gone for weeks was less than adequate. Mostly kids boarding at the barn who's parents dont' know much about horses. No serious riders with horse knowledge ever stayed very long.

What I like:
Nice stalls and wash stall at the facility. Great cross country fields.
What needs improvement:
Trainer was very rough with the horses. Management of the horses was left in less than competent hands for long periods of time with no oversight. Hay quality was poor, fields overgrazed with rotting round bales left for months.

What I like:
I like the family atmosphere that gives people confidence and makes them want to spend time at the barn. The trainer is very encouraging in lessons and at shows. Also, all boarders are treated equally.
What needs improvement:
NOTHING!
