What I like: The trainer and work staff are very friendly and work hard to take care of the horses living here. Quality lessons given on well trained school horses. Access to the best trails in the area - the farm back right up to them! Students who show ride in Chester Country Horse Show Association Shows and rated shows. |
What needs improvement: Trainer pays more attention to students who show. One woman had three horses in a four stall trailer - she took up all three stalls and only one other person could go to the show as the trainer would only take one trip to a show. This same woman also held priority when it came to choosing shows - many riders were left out because they did not have the money this woman did to compete at rated shows. Also, there is no indoor and the outdoor footing is horrible - one year it rained and we had no ring for three weeks over the summer. Finally, there are only three schooling horses. Priority is given to those who board. Students who board can be rude - especially to those who do not board and show. |
