What I like: Takes excellent care of horses.
Very friendly.
No drama.
Everyone is helpful and nice.
If you need help, just ask and someone will be sure to help you.
Trainer lives at the farm and is always available.
It's very relaxed and Julianne doesn't push you to do anything, though she may encourage you to do so.
All of the horses are well kept and safe, no horse is ever left unattended or injured in the field. |
What needs improvement: The only bad think I think is walking across the road to get the horses, but usually Julianne or another responsible adult will go with you and help you get the horses safely and return to the barn with no problems. |

What I like: Julianne is a true, intuitive horsewoman. Her care of the horses is fantastic. The barn is great: clean, bright, hot/cold wash stall, wide aisles, handy amenities like a fridge.
Tack room is large, well-lit, has a sink. No problems with dampness.
Feeding and care is excellent, my horses look great. Every time I'm there the water buckets are clean and the horses always have plenty of hay. She is careful not to overfeed
Julianne also has a keen eye for each horse and checks them when they come in. She has caught minor injuries, beginnings of rain-rot (I have one that is very susceptible) and missing shoes. This gives me peace of mind since I can't be there every day.
Julianne is easy to reach by cell, if she is busy giving a lesson or tending to horses she calls back the first chance she gets.
She's a super teacher, both to the little ones (my sons both take lessons) and people my age who need reminders/refreshers. Very positive, but with the corrections/instruction you need.
As a mom and a lifelong rider, I appreciate her insistence on safety...those Pony Club rules are drilled into our brains. |
What needs improvement: I can't think of anything, except that I wish it was closer so I could get there more often. |
