What I like:
Great little place to learn without the snobbishness of large riding barns and "hunter" horse people. My kids have ridden at Lakeside Equestrian for over two years now and they also did pony camp and loved that, too! I am completely satisfied that this is a smaller and more personalized for individualized attention. I like that it is no-frills and without egos. The horses are in excellent health and my children have learned English and Western disciplines. Yes, there is a barn, paddocks, and ample riding ring!
What needs improvement:
Nothing needs improvement because it works the way the instructor has it set up. It is small and personalized, the way to best learn. The only thing I would change is having more availability for lesson times on a weekend because they book up fast.

What I like:
I like that the instuctor is very well educated in both English and Western disiplines! That it is a relaxed barn setting and the lessons are reasonably priced! I always wanted to learn how to ride and she has given me the chance to learn @ my own pace! Great place to learn Riding! And the horse are very well mannerd!
What needs improvement:
The Barn owners are giving the place a over haul so things are changing everyday for the better! New ring for 2012.

What I like:
Uhhm, there's a small little lake?
What needs improvement:
Well. There is certainly a lot. They have one outdoor ring, that's very tiny. They have 5 horses, two of which were miniatures, one of which is lame, and then there's only one which can really be used for English disciplines. They are in small little pastures, some not even in pastures, just tiny little fenced areas, and some in the riding ring. They keep their tack in a tiny trailer, and from what I could see, there was no actual barn. This is a very small and rundown place, but it is cheap. If you really just want to learn the basics, with no frills whatsoever, than this might be your place.
Stable Owner's Response:
I do not know who you are and why you put up such a review about my place not knowing me @ all! You do not ride here for sure or you would know that I teach English and Western Pleasure. None of my horses are Lame Mini or Big! Three of horses go English &Western. No one really cares about the Lake Big or small that has nothing to do with my lesson program! And of course there is a Barn and Run N Sheds too!You do not need a huge piece of property to have a great lesson program! Joy Kussman

What I like:
Basic, down to Earth riding lessons. You feel comfortable with the instructor, Joy Kussman. There are no barn cliques here and you can relax and learn. A great place for basic lessons. Very inexpensive. Safety-minded, too.
What needs improvement:
It's not the best looking stable, but it covers the basics of good lessons from a knowledabe instructor.
