What I like:
I absolutely love PDF. I have been there for 4 years but almost 5 in September. This is my first barn and I couldn't have been any luckier to have found it. I love everyone there and they are all my second family. It is a great atmosphere with amazing people who go there. I have made some awesome friends there. You not only learn to ride, but you learn how to take care of your horse. All of the horses and ponies are amazing in there own ways, and help you to learn and accomplish new things during every ride you have. The whole property is maintained and kept clean on a regular basis. The barns are clean and well maintained. The indoor and outdoor rings have enough space so that you feel comfortable while riding in your lessons, and are set up with many colorful and unique jumps. Every trainer is well certified and is always happy to lend a hand or answer a question you may have.
What needs improvement:
Horses that can jump higher.

As a parent of an advanced rider you want to be assured that your child is in a place where she feels welcome and cared for. Painted Dreams offers just that. The first time we visited PDF my daughter brought a friend with her and both of the girls felt like they had stepped into the Pony Pals storybook farm. Not only did they feel like this was a place they could grow, but it felt like home. As an advanced rider my daughter has learned a good deal from the trainers at PDF and has accomplished much. The willingness of the owner and the staff to work with you to meet your needs is refreshing. For years before moving to PDF my daughter competed in 4H, PDF did not do 4H Shows before we moved there, they do now. This is a barn that teaches horse care and character. It also teaches students that the relationship between horse and riders is not always about competition or just riding, but about responsibility not only to the horses but to the actual harmony of the barn. PDF is a great place for a kid to grow up loving horses.
What needs improvement:
More advanced horses (not ponies) that can jump higher than 2'-6"

Our family has been riding at Painted Dreams Farm for 6 years and we couldn't be happier. The staff are caring, talented, patient and knowledgeable. They are skilled at teaching to every ability level, for boys, girls, men and women. My daughter has loved the various events PDF hosts and participates in. Like the "Spook-a-Rama," at the Bucks County Horse-Park, riding on the beach at Island Beach State Park, horse shows, and eventing. There is an emphasis on becoming both a skilled, safe rider and having a lot of fun! We could not be happier to have this awesome facility right around the corner from our home! We highly recommend Painted Dreams Farm!
What needs improvement:
It is hard to come up with a recommendation here as we have been extremely happy costumers. If I had to say anything it would be there are some potholes in the driveway that could be filled.

What I like:
I have been with Painted Dreams Farm since the main barn was built. Besides being a beautiful facility, it is a wonderful professional facility that takes exceptional care of my horse. Painted Dreams Farm has always prided itself on being starter farm where people can get a strong foundation on the basics of riding and horsemanship. There are many discplines offered there so that students can try out different disciplines and see what suits them best. All of the trainers at the farm are ARIA certifed in dressage, hunters, and jumpers and can toffer students of all levels profession, safe riding instruction. There is a wide variety of lesson horses available to suit various abilities. The lesson horses are well taken care of and if any of them show signs of lameness, they are immediately treated and given time off to recover. As a boarder, I am pleased that the facility is always well taken care of and that my horse is always happy and healthy. The pastures are large and well maintained and rotated as needed. Most pastures have 2 -3 horses in it with the exception of some of the larger ones where there may be 4-5. My horse has always had his own pasture to share with one other horse. There are 2 riding arenas, one indoor and one outdoor and both are maintained daily. Finally, the owner is probbaly one of the nicest people I have ever had the opportunity of meeting in the horse business. She is always happy and polite. She takes the time to talk to ever client at the farm and listens to everything you have to say.
What needs improvement:
Absolutely nothing.

What I like:
The horses are looked after by the owner and her staff with love and care and knowledge. Wonderful teaching staff. fabulous indoor arena. grass in the pastures. horses get the most turnout time i see at any local barns. when my horse coliced i received three calls and three text messages by three different people who were already taking care of my horse by the time i got to my phone. the vet was called and the owner and one of her teachers hung out with Ty and I while the vet was there. What more care can you ask for? it is a riding school across multiple diciplines in all age groups so you should look at the class schedule the day before to pick the best time to use the ring especially in winter. When you take responsibility of choosing your pleasure riding times around lessons there is plenty of time to get use of the indoor. a fabulous benefit thru the winter. if you have a suggestion the owner is all ears and if your suggestion makes sense within the business it is implemented. it is great to have input where you board your horse and take lessons a rare gift indeed.
What needs improvement:
can't think of anything at this time.

What I like:
Beautiful new barn and indoor. All are being completely wasted by such an unprofessional farm.
What needs improvement:
The owner, manager, and all of the trainers are extremely unknowledgable and unprofessional. They change riding disciplines like it's a hobby. There are always multiple lessons by multiple instructors going on at the same time in the same ring with very limited space for the riders. The ponies and horses have all gotten into bad habits because of the unknowledgable people working around them and teaching off of them. For such a new barn I was very shocked at how untidy everything was kept. This farm could have been something really nice if only it had gotten into the right hands....

What I like:
The facility is very nice and aesthetically pleasing. The indoor ring is really nice and easily accessible. The layout of 3 barns is nice to separate horses according to needs, owners’ wishes, etc. The fencing is safe and beginner horses are quite reliable. Hay is delivered regularly and there are a wide variety of trainers (see below). This is a nice place to learn how to ride (beginners to low intermediate riders) or have a pony party/camp.
What needs improvement:
Communication from the owner is very irregular, indecisive and uneducated. Trainers, barn managers, and staff get mixed messages and directions. Therefore, trainers are plentiful but have a high turn-over rate. The owner changes her mind and focus annually – western pleasure barn, hunter/jumpers, dressage, beginner/community friendly. Horses are often used while lame or dealing with other health issues (difficulty breathing, knee issues, eye issues). Medicating horses and stocking of feed or other supplies were not well regulated. Horses are not well disciplined (although steadfast in the riding ring) and boarders never really know what really happens at the farm. The indoor is dragged and watered irregularly. [I distinctly remember riding a horse that slipped while jumping on the overwatered ring in front of the owner.] The facility is not used to its maximum potential; shavings were stored in a beautiful indoor arena. The grass pastures have way, way too many horses and there are way too many horses crowded onto the property in general. Lessons are often crammed together in one ring, riding on top of each other and making it difficult to hear and really focus with other riders or boarders doing whatever they like. Boarders are allowed to do as they please – wild “natural” horsemanship with unruly horses or interrupting your lesson on a snotty pony. Boarding is ridiculously, ridiculously overpriced.

What I like:
I love pretty much everything about this farm! The facilities are wonderful, and they have over 7+ pastures and 3 barns. The barns themselves are kept pretty clean and organized. They also have an indoor & outdoor riding ring and a cross-country field. I would definitely recommend this barn to boarders because of the great care all the horses get, and the friendly staff- all for $650 a month. There are many decent lesson horses to ride and 7 wonderful instructors that teach in different disciplines (hunter/jumper, english, dressage, western). The farm is huge and fun to take a trail ride on. The barn does have a show team as well, and rather than being pressured to win and be competitive it is very laid-back and fun at shows. The owner is very knowledgeable and watches over the horses and farm carefully.
What needs improvement:
There are only several advanced horses available, and then they get used by beginners... there are too many ponies too!! Some of the saddles are alright but others can be annoying to ride in. Since there are many instructors, it can get a bit crowded at times.

What I like:
What I like about Painted Dreams Farms is just about everything. There is not a bad vibe to be found there. Everyone is nice to each other, the horses are happy, and the kids are happy just to be there and help out. I’ve been ridding here for a couple years now and couldn’t be happier. My lessons always have me focused and working. I learn something new each time I ride and my trainers are just wonderful. We have so many trainers for just about everything, which in my opinion, is great. My horses are well taken care of, always fed, always happy. I love Painted Dreams Farms!
What needs improvement:
Some of the cobwebs need to come down. I hate spiders and if one of them fell on me. Eughh. I also think the hay bales shouldn’t be placed in the aisles as horses try to go to them and it makes a mess.

What I like:
Painted Dreams Farm is a very good stable to ride at, but is lacking in the advanced horses section. Besides not having many good jumpers, it is a great barn filled with great trainers.
What needs improvement:
Horses that can jump are something that is greatly needed at PDF.
