What I like:
I agree, the location is great and boarding was cheap.
What needs improvement:
I would question the high reviews being from the barn managers themselves. You do get what you pay for. The barn manager/trainer is not hands on with horses. Lesson horses tend to have issues that were not safe for the level of riders and were often questionably dangerous. Horses are fed lower grade feed and hay is often not available when boarders felt is should have been. Word of mouth is important to me, please weigh the pros and cons carefully and visit the barn and ALL people living on premises personally.

What I like:
What do you like about this stable: The owner tends to boarders' horses with
the same care as her own. The feed is an A&M formula for horses, the hay is
organic coastal and readily available to the horses, supplements are
cheerfully fed at the owner's request and provision, vets and farriers are
regularly scheduled for routine maintenance. The owner and the stable help
are hands-on and on-the-spot. The owner and the boarders and students all
work to maintain a community and to minimize the barn-diva syndrome.
What needs improvement:
What needs to be improved at this stable: this is an older facility, so it's
not shiny or fancy. It is, though, a solid working stable.

What I like:
One of the things that I like about this stable is the location. I also like the barn manager who happens to hold a degree in equine science. I can come to her at any time and ask her advice and she always gives good solid words of wisdom. My horses are in the best shape they have ever been in and we are all happy there. I like the help that Kathy employs, they are helpful and polite and great with the horses. I also know that I won't be nickel and dimed to death and there aren't a bunch of ridiculous rules. The barn is kid friendly and clean.
What needs improvement:
I would say the barn cancer but fortunately for Ms. Kathy,,, both have left.

What I like:
I love the fact that the barn manager has a degree in equine science. Her advice is sensible, intelligent and practical. She doesn't nickel and dime you to death and she doesn't have a lot of non-sense for rules like other barns that I have toured. She takes great care of the horses and I couldn't be happier! My daughter takes equitation lessons from Ms. Ellerbeck and I have noticed a huge improvement with my daughters riding ability and confidence. My horse is well taken care of, as are all of the horses out there. Kathy Ellerbeck is professional, polite, extremely knowledgeable, understanding, and the stables are kid friendly. Who can ask for anything more?!!!
What needs improvement:
nothing!!!!

What I like:
Large pastures. Good location.
What needs improvement:
Better quality of feed. Hay used regularly when pastures are bare. Better overall management. Horses should be a priority.
