What I like: Little Lake Stables has been like a second home for me, and has been a place where I know my horses have been safe and happy. I love the trails not only because there are so many miles of them, but also because I don't EVER have to ride on the roads to get to them. I've gotten two horses introduced to driving there, so having safe trails available has been a real plus for that. While I was boarding my childhood horse there, he had a lot of special needs as his health deteriorated from Cushings disease, and Dave gave him the best care right until the end. My remaining horse is still happily out grazing every day with his friends, and I never worry when I go out of town - I know he's in good hands. I thank my lucky stars every day to have found this place, as I've never had this good of horse care available. The other boarders are so nice that it's a good place to ride or just relax after a rough work week. I just love it here! |
What needs improvement: We do have arenas available to us, but they are a little small if you want to do really heavy training/be in the arena every day. We boarders do use them, but most of us prefer to ride the trails anyway and mostly use them just for tuning up or when the weather is bad. |
